Canoeing on the Gorges du Diable

Managed course - From age 4 - All levels

On a calm stretch of water, you'll discover a part of the Gorges that's difficult to access other than by canoe or kayak. You'll be self-sufficient and supervised aboard your own boat! You can also take advantage of the water zip line at the nautical base, supervised by an instructor.

How does it work?

When you arrive at the Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert water base, our partner will give you your equipment and brief you on safety instructions. You'll then set off on a guided descent of the river. A bus will take you back to the base.

Different packages are available:

• Canoe/Kayak: 1 or 2 people. A trip on a calm stretch of water, with the option of stopping for a break to take in the scenery of the Gorges du Diable, or simply to enjoy a picnic.
• Indian Canoe/Tribe: 4 to 6 people. Bring you together, in the same boat, to work as a team. Your children can even stay with you, so the whole family can enjoy the experience!

You'll have a great time with family or friends, alone or with your pet! All that's left for you to do is pick up your paddle and climb into your chosen boat, equipped with your life jacket, to tame the Hérault river, not forgetting the chance to cool off in its clear waters.
