Splendid, full of challenges, ever-changing and calm, the Hérault gorges are an ideal place to spend a superb time canoeing! The section you'll explore is simple: no complicated rapids, just wild landscapes far from roads and settlements. You'll enjoy a 7 km canoe descent, during which you'll come across historic relics, small rapids and a wealth of flora and fauna.
On arrival at the Valrac water sports base, our partner will give you your equipment and brief you on safety instructions. You'll then set off down the river. A bus will take you back to the base.
This canoe-kayak trip down the Hérault is ideal for all those who want to discover the Hérault department in a new light!

Great experience! The staff were lovely and welcoming, very helpful and patiently explained everything to us. The course was superb and very pleasant, and the equipment well adapted. I've tested the other canoe bases in this area and I'd recommend this one as the most welcoming.
