Nicolas and his team offer Canoe/Kayak descents in the splendid Hérault gorges, where you'll have the chance to discover numerous areas ideal for disembarking, picnicking and even swimming!

Canoeing in the Hérault gorges

Splendid, full of challenges, ever-changing and calm, the Hérault gorges are the ideal place to spend a superb time canoeing! You'll explore wild landscapes far from roads and settlements. You'll enjoy a canoe descent, during which you'll come across historic relics, small rapids and a wealth of flora and fauna.

How does it work?

On arrival at the Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois nautical base, our partner will hand over the equipment and brief you on safety instructions. You'll then set off on a descent of the river. A bus will take you back to the base.

Several descents are available:

Ganges to Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois: 6 km - Minimum age: 11 years (10 years with supervision) - Start: Ganges - Estimated time: 1h30
Saint-Bauzille-de-Putois to Aubanel: 9 km - Minimum age: 6 years - Finish: near the bridge at Saint-Etienne d'Issensac - Estimated time: 2h
From Ganges to Aubanel: 15 km - Minimum age: 11 years (10 years with supervision) - Start: Ganges - Finish: Aubanel - Estimated time: 4h
