Activity description :

Make your own rum in just 3 hours, after triple distillation of fermented sugarcane must. You'll enjoy a unique experience in century-old cellars not far from Bordeaux, and discover all the stages involved in distilling rum.

Workshop schedule (3h) :

• Welcome of participants and presentation of the distillery and workshop. Introduction to the history of rum and its different varieties.
• Explanation of the creation of fermented must and the fermentation process
• Distillation in your own still using the "repasse" method
• Analysis of results
• Alcohol dilution and bottling/labeling of your own bottle. You will leave with a 20cl bottle of Cuban molasses rum.
• Discuss your experience
• Discovery, tasting and opportunity to purchase distillery products at a 5% discount.
