One-day plant dyeing workshop in Lille (59)

Activity description :

Come and discover Noémie's world of natural vegetable dyeing. During this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the different plant dyeing techniques!

Course of the activity (7h) :

• Welcome and tour of Noémie's workshop.
• Theoretical part on plant dyeing and the origins of the different techniques.
• Then it's time to get hands-on: picking dye plants (weather permitting), preparing dye baths, making different colors, samples, then learning how to shibori or bundle-dye (eco-print).
• Each participant leaves with two cotton napkins.
• An introductory guide will be provided so you can reproduce the technique at home.

A great way to discover vegetable dyeing, with family or friends.
