Tufting carpet workshop in Nantes (44)

Activity description :

Come and try your hand at the latest DIY trend: tufting! It's the art of creating a painting or rug using a wool gun. Come and give free rein to your creativity and create the design of your choice during aone-day workshopin which you'll create a 55x70cm rug (final shape rectangular or simple organic).

Workshop schedule (7h) :

• Presentation of tools: tufting gun cut pile
• Freehand drawing of the illustration on canvas. The drawing must be prepared in advance of the workshop. You can send it by email at least 72 hours before your workshop if you're not comfortable with drawing, so that it's ready when you arrive!
• Choice of wool balls: 5 colors maximum from the available selection.
• Getting to grips with the tufting gun. Your instructor will be on hand to help you!
• Once your design is complete, Elodie will take care of all the finishing touches and corrections within 4 to 5 weeks. You can then collect your creation from the workshop by appointment, or we can send it to your home for an additional charge (payable on the day of the workshop).
