Come and create your own musical instrument during an 8-hour day of metalworking.

What is a tank drum? A tank drum is a percussion instrument also known as a hank drum or tongue drum. It produces sound from the metal itself.

Activity schedule (8h) :

• Welcome and breakfast included.
• This workshop will enable you to learn metalworking skills
• Welding: making the instrument's 2 convex bottoms.
• Grinding the welds.
• Tracing the keys that will give the 12 musical notes, then cutting them out with a jigsaw.
• Tuning of your tank drum.
• Lunch (included).
• Then it's time for the finishing touches: polishing, brushing, flame-painting and engraving.
• At the end of the day, you'll leave with your musical instrument, ready to use, as well as a bag and sticks!

This is a great workshop if you want to learn new skills and create a musical instrument from the percussion family with your own ten fingers!
