Activity description :

Come and discover Reunionese gastronomy with Annabel in her cooking workshop located in a typical Breton stone house in the heart of the Mené countryside. You'll learn how to make bredes, a typical dish of edible plant stems and leaves.

Course of the workshop (2h):

  • Welcome and apron distribution for each participant
  • You will learn to discover and recognize plants whose stems and leaves are edible and can be cooked.
  • Harvesting plants from Annabelle's permacultural garden
  • Creole-style fricassee of bredes.
  • A recipe card will be given to you at the end of the course.
  • You'll leave with your own creations to share with others.

This workshop is the perfect way to discover the richness of Reunionese cuisine! It's also a great activity to enjoy with family and friends!
