Discover Japanese patisserie by making mochi in a convivial pastry workshop organized by Agathe. You'll learn how to make it, and leave with mochi to enjoy! This gourmet workshop will introduce you to freshly baked Japanese pastries in a friendly atmosphere.

Mochi workshop (1h30) :

  • Welcome tea and explanation of the recipe.
  • First cooking of the rice dough coating the mochi.
  • During this cooking, you'll watch a demonstration and explanation of the black sesame ganache and mochi shaping techniques.
  • Making your first mochi under Agathe's guidance: you'll make a minimum of 5 mochis.
  • Learn how to make anko (not possible on site, as it takes 2 days to prepare), with a theoretical section.
  • Each participant leaves with his or her own mochi to enjoy at home.

About Agathe: having worked for top chefs in Paris and for 2 years in Tokyo as a pastry chef, Agathe is a specialist in this tasty little Japanese ball.
