Before discovering the farm's vegetables in the field, children will get to practice planting and sowing! A theoretical part will help them understand the needs of the plant they'll be sowing, and the seasonality of its development.
In completely biodegradable pots, children can sow seeds for farm vegetables, transplant aromatic plants or plant fruit or vegetable shoots. These pots can be replanted directly in the planter on the balcony, terrace or even in the vegetable garden without removing the pot!

This workshop lasts 45 minutes and requires the presence of at least one accompanying adult for the visit to the farm and the activity.
Participation in the workshop entitles you to a visit to the Saint-Denis Open Farm and its animals: goats, sheep and chickens. At 5:15 p.m. each day, children have the opportunity to enter the pens with an animator. At the Saint-Denis Open Farm, you'll discover the farming techniques of yesterday, today and tomorrow, with an exhibition of old tools and vintage videos shot by the Kersanté family.
