In his workshop at Saint-Sulpice (53) in Mayenne, Antoine welcomes you to discover the art of knife-making during a convivial 2-day workshop. A total immersion in the world of cutlery to make your own unique and personalized straight knife.

Course of the workshop (2 days) :

• Discover the different parts that make up a knife.
• Choice of two wood species: olive, acacia, birch, pear, walnut and many others.
• Work with these woods to transform them into knife handles. You'll also insert a decorative piece on the handle: a mosaic rivet.
• Guillochage to work certain metal parts.
• No fewer than 40 steps are involved in creating your knife: drilling, cutting, milling and polishing.
• Antoine will give you invaluable advice throughout the course to ensure that the result is as clean and beautiful as possible.
