Wine tasting workshop in Bordeaux (33)

Activity description :

Experience a tasting workshop led by an expert sommelier, in a friendly atmosphere between a wine tasting class and an aperitif with friends in the heart of Bordeaux, just a stone's throw from the Grand Théâtre!

Workshop schedule (1h30):

• Introduction to the basics: terroir, grape varieties, appellation, classification, vinification, ageing, storage and the art of wine service.
• Tasting begins with a white wine, introducing the key stages of tasting using a universal method.
• Tasting of 3 single-varietal red wines to understand the value of Bordeaux blends
• Tasting of 2 great wines, one from the Left Bank, the other from the Right Bank, including a Bordeaux Grand Cru, to discover the great Bordeaux wine regions: Médoc and Libourne.

The wines will be accompanied by local charcuterie and cheeses, to enhance the experience and learn the basics of food and wine pairing!
