A change from the usual zoo. Do it again!

This refuge is well worth a visit ....Both for the animals, most of which have their own recorded history, and for the remarkable facilities for their well-being.... A big bravo to their founder who has made this place unique and deserving of great recognition.... We must encourage this site, which absolutely must be protected 👏👏👏

A wonderful moment shared with all these animals, who are finally free and happy despite their difficult pasts. Bravo to La Tanière for giving them back their dignity.

Very nice refuge

This zoo refuge is very interesting. You can feel the well-being of the animals who are being treated so well to rebuild their lives. Very pleasant visit, but we'll go back when it's not so hot (30° in the shade, so in the sun....La fournaise) and some of the animals had taken refuge in the shade of their shelters, so we weren't able to see them all. We'll be able to do so on our next visit. The park is clean, as are the animals' enclosures. Everything here exudes kindness and a concern for the welfare of these animals, whose past is often very difficult. We had a great day out as a family. The picnic tables and catering were very well organized. We bought souvenirs and sponsored 3 animals! We'll be back!
