Activity description :

Come and discover all the benefits of fermented foods during a workshop where you'll learn how to create your own jars of fermented vegetables (in season). Biliana, PhD in Microbiology, will be delighted to share her passion for better eating during this 2-hour workshop.

Course of the workshop (2h) :

  • Lecture on the health benefits of fermented foods. You'll also learn about the link between your diet and your emotions, particularly stress and anxiety.
  • You'll taste a few fermented products and then get down to cooking.
  • The objective? Enable the vegetables in your garden (or at the market) to be preserved for longer thanks to the fermentation process.
  • Biliana will take you through all the steps involved in making jars of fermented seasonal vegetables, while explaining the benefits of fermented foods for your microbiota.
  • You'll leave the workshop with your own jar of homemade fermented vegetables, (almost) ready to enjoy. Fermentation takes time, and you'll have to wait 2 to 3 weeks before you can eat your super little seasonal vegetables.
  • Biliana will be on hand to answer all your questions about fermentation and microbiota.
