The route - Piana & Scandola

Duration: 8 hours

In just one hour, you'll reach the emblematic Scandola Nature Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its exceptional marine and terrestrial flora and fauna make for a breathtaking spectacle.

On the island of Gargalo, you can visit the cathedral, or take a dip in the turquoise waters while our captains prepare a "nustrale" aperitif, a tasting of local charcuterie and rosé wine.

At midday we arrive in Girolata, a small fishing village built around an 18th-century fortress accessible only by sea. You'll then have a 2H00 free stop for lunch, when you can choose between several restaurants overlooking the sea, or a picnic you've brought along to enjoy on the beaches inhabited by wild cows.

At 2 p.m. we'll head back out to sea towards the Gulf of Porto for another swimming break at Anse Ficaghjola, a small village overlooking a heavenly beach. We'll then straddle our seats for a sensational ride to the Calanques de Piana, a geological gem with majestic cliffs and caves that we'll explore one after the other. We'll go on to the natural pool of Capo Rosso, where you can dive into its crystal-clear waters surrounded by fish under the watchful eye of the Genoese tower Turghju.

We'll have a final swim in the cove of Cala di Pala, where you can jump off natural diving boards at different heights. We'll continue this fantastic ride until your return, leaving you with stars in your eyes and unforgettable memories.
