Parent/child Tetrapak engraving workshop in Paris 19th arrondiss

Discover an original engraving technique, Tetrapak, during a 2h30 workshop with Apolline. In her studio in the 19th arrondissement, you'll be able to familiarize yourself with this engraving technique known as taille douce. This workshop is open to children aged 6 and over, and is ideal for a parent/child duo.

Tetrapak is a type of food packaging most often found in cartons of milk, fruit juice and so on. It's easy to cut, and can be engraved with a variety of tools that are accessible even to the youngest.

Course of the workshop (2h30):

• Presentation of the different types of engraving and techniques, and demonstration of examples.
• Creation of your own design.
• Engrave your own design on recycled packaging. You can combine different pieces of tetrapak to make unique prints.
• Inking and printing of your creations using a pasta machine.

The workshops are open to all, and you don't need any special knowledge to take part. Don't worry about getting lost in the explanations, workshops are limited to 3 people so Apolline can guide you.
