Ceramic workshop in Paris 20th

Activity description :

Course of the workshop (2h30) :

• Welcome and introduction to the workshop, presentation of modeling techniques: learning how to use the plate and pincé methods, with demonstrations of decoration techniques (engobes, impressions, pastillage).
• Explanation of the process: choice of piece to create, such as a small tea service, a soap dish, or a board for an aperitif.
• Shaping in white earthenware: step-by-step guidance by Amandine and Caroline according to the chosen technique.
• Post-workshop: drying, firing and glazing of pieces taken care of by the workshop, ready after 6 weeks and stored for 2 months.
