Activity description :
Come and discover the world of Nadia, mosaicist, at her workshop in the Monts du Lyonnais. She'll teach you the heart of her craft in a 3-hour workshop, during which you'll have the opportunity to create your own mirror.
Workshop schedule (3h) :
- Presentation of the history of mosaics: the different periods and styles.
- Presentation of the materials and tools you'll be working with: Venetian smalti. Choice of colors from the range presented and according to your personal taste.
- Then it's time to get hands-on: learn how to cut, lay out and fit the pieces together.
- You'll leave with your very own 20x20cm mirror.
It's a great activity to do if you like to create things with your own hands! It's also a great gift to give to a hands-on person who enjoys discovering new artistic disciplines.
