Activity description :

This course will teach you how to cook seafood in an original way. In the company of a chef, you'll create a delicious 3-course menu (starter/main course/dessert) that will impress your guests at your next dinner party. The team welcomes you to its workshop in the heart of Nantes, near Place Royale, for a friendly, iodized session.

Course description (2h) :

  • Suggested menu : scallop carpaccio with vanilla and lime, cold celery-granny mousse with curry + monkfish tail cannelloni with spices, parsnip crushed of parsnips (or potatoes) with hazelnut butter, mango-coriander salsa + Breton sablé with fleur de sel, baked apple with salted butter, crème montée.
  • You'll be introduced to a range of culinary techniques, such as carving scallop carpaccio, lifting monkfish fillet, making Breton shortbread pastry, whipped cream...
  • The chef's advice will accompany you throughout the workshop to ensure your meal is a success.

A great discovery for me, a cooking workshop! I loved it! Chef Abdel is dynamic and a pleasure to work with, giving us all the tips and tricks for his inventive and surprising recipes. I really enjoyed taking part in this wonderful discovery on Saturday. Thanks also to the young man who worked like a discreet ant on all the logistics (don't forget to tell him).
