Activity description :

Eva welcomes you to her space for a creative workshop on linocut. During this workshop, you'll learn the basics of this traditional printing technique.

Course of the workshop (3h):

• After a presentation of the tools and a demonstration of the hollowing technique, you will engrave your linoleum plate from your drawings.
• Once the engraving stage is complete, it's time for the long-awaited printing.
• You apply the ink to the matrix with a roller, creating the imprint on the paper with a press, and that's it!
• Final stage: Prints on fine paper (for greeting cards, for example) or on a small notebook.

You'll go home with your prints and the ready-to-use matrix, for use on all kinds of materials: paper, fabric, wallpaper and whatever else inspires you!
