Activity description :

Let your children explore the creative world of sewing in this exciting workshop! Accompanied by Annie, your child will discover the steps involved in sewing, from manipulating templates to creating a personalized cotton bag, also known as a totebag. During this workshop, your child will have the opportunity to participate on his or her own, enabling him or her to gain autonomous experience!

Course of the activity (2h):

• Accompanied by Annie, your child will explore the various stages of sewing, from manipulating templates to assembling and sewing, using different tools such as the sewing machine and iron. Her project will be the creation of a cotton bag, also known as a totebag, adapted to her preferences.
• The fabrics used in this workshop are destocked, coming from stocks that were no longer in use. A variety of patterns are available, from florals to animal prints to graphic designs. Your child will be spoilt for choice!
• After choosing from the fabrics, your child will cut, assemble and sew his or her bag at his or her own pace, following the various steps.
• Once the workshop is over, your child can use the bag to carry his or her belongings, whether for dance, gymnastics, soccer or any other activity.

As an added bonus, at the end of the workshop, your child will leave with a detailed instruction sheet, enabling him or her to reproduce the workshop at home!
