Introductory tufting workshop in Labouheyre (40)

Activity description :

Come and try your hand at tufting, a discipline that lets you create a decorative object or mirror using a wool gun! Bring your ideas and creativity, and leave with a 100% personalized object!

In the creative workshop, you'll also find materials and accessories to create a cushion or a vase. These creations are available on site at an additional cost.

Course of the workshop (3h) :

• Presentation of the different techniques you'll be using.
• Learn how to use the tufting gun: Salomé will show you how to use it according to the motif you wish to create.
• Draw the selected motif on canvas and choose wools and colors.
• Your creation is completed in 3 hours.
• Finishing touches: cutting, gluing the canvas strip, shaving.
• If you're a beginner, prepare a design that's not too complicated! If you don't have any ideas, Salomé can also suggest some on the spot.

This workshop is ideal for learning a new discipline and giving free rein to your creativity. It's also a great gift idea for a DIY fan!
