Introduction to Parachuting PAC course in Péronne (80)

Activity description :

The aim of PAC (Progression Accompagnée en Chute) training is to enable you to acquire as quickly as possible all the autonomy you need for freefall jumping.

The PAC initiation jump is the first step in a PAC training program. It takes place over the course of a day, during which you will attend a complete theoretical training session to learn more about the equipment, safety rules, position in freefall and canopy handling. The end of the day will be devoted to your solo jump, accompanied by 2 instructors.

Located in the Somme département (80), Eric and his team of professionals affiliated with the Fédération Française de Parachutisme (FFP) welcome you to the Péronne Saint-Quentin airfield.

Course of the stag

• You'll be welcomed by our team, followed by a theoretical training session to help you understand the techniques of freefall, canopy flight and parachute operation.
• You'll be equipped with a wetsuit, helmet, goggles, altimeter and parachute adapted to your weight.
• Boarding: you'll enjoy a 15-20 minute flight to reach the altitude required for the jump, during which you can enjoy the scenery.
• Once you've reached an altitude of 4,000 meters, the doors will open and you'll jump accompanied by 2 instructors who will help you stabilize your position and ensure that your jump goes as smoothly as possible. You'll be in freefall for a minute at around 200 km/h!
• At an altitude of 1,500 meters, you'll trigger the opening of your parachute. You'll then be able to enjoy several minutes of serene descent under canopy, guided by radio by an instructor on the ground as you make your way back to terra firma.
• Landing and debriefing of your experience.
