Come and learn arc welding at this 2h30 workshop in Nogent-le-Rotrou! You'll have the opportunity to learn the basics of this welding technique and put all the theoretical knowledge you've learned into practice.

What is arc welding? This is the most generic welding method, using an electric arc to raise the temperature of the metals to be welded to the melting point.

Workshop schedule (2h to one day):

• Welcome by the team, discovery of the site, machines and explanation of safety instructions.
• You'll then be able to choose the workshop you'd like to attend (the one you choose when you book), ranging from an introduction to welding to the creation of objects or tools.

Different workshops on offer

• Introduction to arc welding (2h30): learn the basics of this discipline in a 2h30 course. You'll start with theory, then learn basic gestures and techniques. You'll then be able to practice welding.
• Building a pallet remover (3h): learn to cut, weld and assemble to create a solid, practical pallet remover. It is preferable to have already completed an introduction to welding before taking this workshop.
• Creation of a metal garden decoration (2h): create a motif of your choice: cut a simple shape using plasma to hang or plant. This workshop is open to children accompanied by an adult.
• Garden brazier workshop (8h): create your own metal brazier on legs. You'll learn how to cut, bend and weld. You'll need a basic understanding of welding before taking this workshop.

These workshops are the perfect way to learn the basics of welding, with professionals on hand to show you how to use the equipment correctly and safely. You'll work on everything from cutting to bending to welding.
