Activity description :

Discover copper working with Rémi, a passionate craftsman and Meilleur Apprentis de France. During this workshop, you'll be immersed in a world of materials, and given the opportunity to work with copper to create your own pair of coasters! During this immersive and creative workshop, you'll plunge into a world of materials and try to awaken the craftsman in you!

Course of the activity (1h30) :

Discovery of the craftsman and his know-how
First contact with the material: tracing, cutting (hacksaw or shears).
Shaping using hand or portable tools, depending on your skill level.
You can also choose from 4 types of finish.
Finishing: sanding the raw material with a belt sander and screwdriver to give the copper a brushed appearance.
You can personalize your coaster by punching in the letters or symbols of your choice.
You'll leave with your own beautiful copper coasters and new art-working skills.

Suitable for all levels of craftsmanship, this metal workshop will give you the opportunity to work with copper to create your own pair of coasters and put a creative stamp on your table!
