How does it work?

Choose your type of license from coastal or river, then follow the school's online courses and tests to prepare for thetheory exam on your own. You will then have 6h30 of theoretical training and practice before passing your code on site at your school.

• Coastal license: allows you to pilot a motorboat on the sea, day and night, whatever the power of the vessel and within 6 miles of a shelter. Sophie offers a formula adapted to your needs and availability at her Bateau École de la vie center.
• The river license: allows you to navigate on rivers and to drive a pleasure boat less than 20 meters long, designed or equipped to travel at more than 20km/h.
• Examinations: theory: 30 multiple-choice questions, practical: 2 hours of compulsory navigation, the river license examination is purely theoretical, in the form of an electronic multiple-choice test. Practical tests are validated by Sophie.

Your reservation: to make your reservation, choose the day of your choice from the calendar. The day does not correspond to the driving test, but to an appointment required to prepare your registration file. Once your reservation has been confirmed by the partner, you'll need to get in touch with them to arrange a time for your appointment. He'll explain all the details directly to you.
