Visit to Monsieur Seguin's educational farm & snack (01)

Activity description :

Come and discover our animals to awaken the senses of young and old alike. Hubert Seguin welcomes you to his organic educational farm in La Chapelle du Chatelard, Ain. White and bold, in the heart of the Dombes region, Mr. Seguin's goats are neither afraid of wolves, nor of you!

On the program:

• Young farmers meet the farm's various animals. They'll discover how goats are raised, and the particularities of sheep, pigs, farmyard animals...
• Children can get up close and personal with the animals, helping to feed them and understand the farming industry.
• Visits are possible when the animals are being fed: morning or afternoon.
• Take advantage of your visit to the farm to enjoy a delicious snack. Your choice:
  • Farm snack: 1 slice of homemade wood-fired Bresse tart, 1 glass of juice, slice of bread and homemade quince paste.
  • Tasting snack: 1 slice of homemade Bresse tart, cooked over a wood fire, 1 local fromage blanc with coulis, honey or sugar.
  • Gourmet snack: 1 slice of homemade wood-fired Bresse tart, 1 scoop of local ice cream

Please note: it is recommended to arrive at the site 15 minutes before the activity is due to start, and children remain under the responsibility of accompanying adults.
