Activity description :

Annie proposes a treasure hunt in the heart of the Jardin Public, right in the center of Bordeaux. You'll embark on a fabulous journey back in time, to discover an old magnolia tree hidden for 2 centuries in this magnificent English-style garden.

Scenario: The Journey of the Giant Magnolia

1 to 5 people per team, max. 2 teams - Duration: 1h30

Hubertine, a rather strange young girl, will tell you the incredible story of a 200-year-old magnolia tree hidden in the heart of the public garden. Through a series of riddles, she'll lead you to the location of this ancient treasure. You'll discover the history of the garden, its many surprising nooks and crannies, and some of its 19th-century remains and fittings.

How does it work?

  • When you arrive, you'll be greeted by Hubertine. She'll tell you the story of the Giant Magnolia, and then explain how the treasure hunt works.
  • In teams of 1 to 5 people (2 groups maximum playing at the same time), you'll have around 1 hour to solve all the riddles and get to the end point. If your registration is for less than 5 players, you may be asked to play with others.
  • At the end, once all the players have gathered around the magnolia tree, Hubertine will close the adventure with a debriefing on your quest and add new elements to the story.

An original outdoor treasure hunt that will help you (re)discover the true history of this garden full of secrets!
