In the exceptional setting of the Port-Louis citadel, discover the collections of the Musée National de la Marine. With its exceptional panorama over Lorient roadstead and Groix Island, the museum invites you to explore "Ocean Treasures", devoted to underwater excavations and the sunken remains of Indian trading ships, and "Rescue at Sea", dedicated to the fraternity of seafarers.

• The Museum is located in a place steeped in history, on a rocky escarpment offering an exceptional panorama of the Île de Groix, Gâvres and Larmor Plage.

Opening hours :

• Open all year round, but not every day
• September: 10am-6pm every day except Tuesday
• Between October and April : 1:30 pm - 6 pm every day except Tuesday
• May and June: 10am-6pm daily
• July and August: 10am-7pm daily
• Last admission 1h before museum closes
• Exceptionally closed on May 1 and December 25
• Annual closure in January
