The scenario - "The Carnation Conspiracy

January 21, 1793 - Louis XVI is taken to the scaffold on the orders of the new Republic. A plot is hatched to save the Queen of France! August 28, 1793, Jean-Baptiste Michonis enters Marie-Antoinette's cell at the Conciergerie, accompanied by Alexandre Gonsse, Chevalier de Rougeville, your contact. This mission became known as the Complot de l'Œillet. On the night of August 30, the two men returned to work out the details of the escape, which was to take place on the night of September 2 to 3, 1793 - tonight!
