Activity description :

Marie welcomes you to the heart of the Domaine de Fontainebleau, to introduce you to her world: butchery! Join her as she shows you how to make a terrine and artisanal sausages .

Workshop schedule (8:30 a.m.):

  • Meet at 8:30 a.m. for a good breakfast to get acquainted.
  • Head to the workshop to learn all about making homemade terrines!
  • You'll discover which pork cuts are best and how to cut them.
  • With Marie, you'll make a pork terrine, rillettes, as well as a rabbit or local game terrine, depending on the season. You'll make 3 different terrines in the morning.
  • A lunch break with home-grown and local products
  • Back to the workshop to learn all about sausage-making: cutting, trimming, mincing, seasoning and stuffing.
  • Each participant will leave with 3.5 kg of finished products, i.e. 3 terrines and 2 types of sausage .
At the end of the day, when you return home, you'll be able to give free rein to your creativity and make your own charcuterie just like a chef!
