Swimming lessons for children at the Montlhéry pool (91)

A new approach to teaching children to swim! We've specially designed our packages to ensure the comfort and quality of your children's swimming lessons. In pleasant pools, in small groups and with a coach present in the water alongside the children, everything is done to facilitate ease in the water and progress.

Auto-Rescue® is the first step in learning to swim. This anti-drowning program has been designed to teach your child survival reflexes in the event of a fall into the water, as well as the basics of swimming. The learning techniques are designed to be fun and stress-free for your child.

In the event of a fall into the water, a child cannot raise his or her head to breathe naturally. The coaches are carefully selected and trained in the Auto-Rescue® program. They'll teach your child how to float and breathe at any depth, for any length of time, and how to move from a prone to a supine position: gestures that could save his or her life!

And for children aged 5 and over, Swim Stars lessons are a continuation of Auto-Rescue®. After learning how to save himself, your child acquires the fundamentals of swimming and ease in the aquatic environment: breathing, balance and movement.

Course schedule :

• For the Auto-Rescue® formula: 6 objectives
  • Get in and out of the water safely
  • Move around the edge of the pool
  • Jump into the water
  • Turn onto back and float on back for 10 seconds
  • Move on your back and return to the edge of the pool on your own.
  • Number of lessons required: 10 to 12 lessons

• For the Learning formula: 5 objectives
  • Jump into the water
  • I turn over (back and stomach) and float on my own
  • I rocket on my stomach and tap my feet
  • I learn to breathe on my front and side
  • I swim on my back and stomach
  • Number of lessons required: 10 to 15 lessons
• For the Perf & Rescue formula: 4 objectives
  • Rescue
  • Breathing coordination
  • Wall turns
  • Learning the 4 strokes

Each lesson lasts 30 minutes, to maximize learning and to ensure the frequency necessary for the pupil to assimilate properly.

We advise you to book the discovery lesson, ideal for trying out and assessing your child's level with the instructor. You can then book the 6-course pack to get started.

At the Montlhéry pool, lessons are given at the following times:

• Wednesday: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
• Saturday: 1.15pm to 3.45pm
• Sunday: 3pm to 4:30pm
