Combining business with pleasure, during this activity you'll enjoy a sunset sailboat ride while being introduced to sailing techniques. Thierry, your professional skipper with a passion for sailing and a love of the sea, will accompany you on this excursion and teach you all about sailing.
Duration: 3 hours
During this 3-hour excursion, you'll depart from Port d'Arcachon at 5pm to enjoy a memorable sunset. You'll set course for the banks, Île aux oiseaux, Cap Ferret and the cabanes tchanquées: wooden cabins perched on stilts, typical of the Bay of Arcachon. During the excursion, Thierry will introduce you to the handling of a 13-meter sailboat: how to catch the wind with the sails, control the direction of the ship with the helm, and how to sail safely. Once you've arrived at Cap Ferret, enjoy a swim oran aperitif. You can bring your own snacks, or ask Thierry to order delicious local products to enjoy on board: seafood platter, oyster tasting, regional charcuterie... Enjoy a breathtaking sunset. Return to port around 9pm.
You'll board the White Pearl, an elegant 13-meter-long cruising sailboat, model X43 from X-Yachts. These comfortable, powerful boats are renowned for their speed on the water. It features 3 double cabins, 2 shower/toilet cabins, heating, hot water and refrigerator. Thanks to its protected cockpit, this boat can accommodate you on cooler days or outside the summer season.
The yacht can accommodate a maximum of 9 people for this excursion. The boat can also be privatized for birthdays or bachelor parties.
