Activity description :

Come and discover millinery with Véronique. Spend a day in her workshop in Pernes-les-Fontaines, near Avignon, creating a hat from felt or straw. You'll be able to make it unique with accessories.

Course of the activity (7h) :

• Breakfast to break the ice and identify participants' wishes.
• Try on different hat shapes to determine which one you'll mold to fit you best.
• Straw or felt hatshaping.
• Drying time during which participants make a hair jewel or headband using the materials available.
• Lunch break.
• Hatdemolding and finishing: trimming, brassing, stitching, hand-stitching, etc.
• You can add accessories to your hat: feathers, buttons, trimmings, lace, braids, ribbons, fabric, various materials for decorations and trimmings!
• Leave with your own 100% personalized hat on your head.
