Activity description :

Looking for a fun activity to do with family and friends for an EVG/EVJF or other occasion? Pauline offers you an initiation to the potter's wheel in her workshop in Grenoble. You'll spend an intimate, personalized moment around a manual activity that's perfect for relaxing and getting together. Success guaranteed!

Course of the activity (3 hours) :

Visit to the workshop with explanation of the ceramic creation process: recycling and preparation of clay, the different stages of shaping and firing.
Work with clay on a work surface to form a 600g clay ball.
Pauline will give you a step-by-step demonstration of the various stages involved in centering the clay on the wheel.
Demonstration of drilling and wall mounting.
At the end of the workshop, each participant will choose one or two pieces to fire and one glaze color per piece.
