Discover natural dyes through a selection of flowers that reveal their true colors! Elisa will explain the different methods of extraction, how to thicken your ink and give you some conservation techniques.
Course of the activity (2h30) :
- Theoretical explanation of inks, plants and their colorants, extraction techniques, binders, conservation.
- Practical application, making inks from fresh or dried plants, depending on the season.
- Creative time, discovering colors and shades according to additives.
- Leave with your paper creations and 3 pots of ink.
This is a great workshop if you want to learn the basics of creating vegetable-based inks, with family or friends, come and create your own eco-friendly ink.
