Parent/child modeling workshop in Concarneau (29)

Activity description :

Share a moment of complicity and creativity with your childas you learn together the art of ceramic modeling. Guided by Hélène, a passionate ceramist, you'll learn how to shape a unique piece while discovering the basic gestures and techniques of pottery.

Course of the workshop (2h) :

• Warm welcome and presentation of modelingequipment and techniques.
• Creation duo: create a cup, a bowl or a small animal in clay according to your desires.
• Personalize your piece with engobes to add color and detail.
• Explanation of the drying, glazing and double-firing stages required for finishing.
• A convivial chat over a drink to round off the workshop.

Your creation will be entrusted to Hélène for firing, and you'll be able to pick it up once finished. A fun and enriching experience to share with the whole family, and leave with a unique work of art created by four hands.
