Château de la Selve was originally a stronghold on the borders of the Empire and then the Kingdom of France. It was then the hunting lodge of an illustrious Vivarais family, the Dukes of Joyeuse, before becoming a farm over the centuries.

Workshop schedule (2h) :

Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of wine through fun, interactive games. Here are the two workshops on offer:

Initiation: Taste 8 estate wines in pairs based on differences and similarities in terroir, vinification, vintage and grape variety.
Stroll through the Rhône Valley: Compare estate wines with wines from the northern and southern Rhône.

Tasting in a black glass: Guess the color of the wine you're tasting!

Masked bottle: Identify the vintage, the grape variety, and determine whether the wine has been aged in barrel or amphora.

Then complete the experience with a full tasting of all the collections in the cellar.
