Activity description :
for a few hours, come and play with colors and materials. Initiate yourself to the art of mosaic, solo, with family or friends. Murielle offers personalized guidance throughout the workshop, for adults and children of all levels. You'll learn the basics of creating your own mosaic: materials and supports, cutting techniques and joint finishing. You'll leave with a mosaic you're proud of and delighted to have enjoyed.
Course of the workshop :
- Theoretical explanation of how to create your own mosaic.
- Presentation of materials, supports and working tools
- Choose your creation according to the workshop chosen: candleholder, picture, photo frame, garden decoration, trivet or glass, luminous to dress your trees and play with the sun.
- Choice of tesserae (wide range of colors) : Briare enamels, pâte de verre, porcelain stoneware, shells...
- Get to grips with wheel-nose pliers and cut tesserae
- Preparing the base, gluing the tesserae and finishing with a joint (Children's workshop without joint)
- Tea, herbal tea or coffee break
