Introduction to potter's wheel workshop in Salavre (01)

Activity description :

Would you like to discover the secrets of ceramics? Then come to Sophia's workshop for a one-day introduction to wheel throwing and modeling!

Workshop schedule (6h) :

• Morning: introduction to modeling. Choose the pieces you'd like to make. Cutting the clay, then working with it by hand.
• Shaping your object and finalizing it with Sofia.
• Lunch break: bring a picnic lunch.
• Afternoon: initiation to the practice of the wheel. You can create the piece of your choice! Sofia will teach you how to turn.
• Finishing: after a little drying, you'll finish by modeling your pieces to give them their final shape.
• Come back and pick up your pieces within 2 weeks of the workshop.
