Activity description :

Welcome to Yin's workshop for an introduction to the pinched pot technique. In creating her workshop, Yin wanted to bring together values that were dear to her, such as sharing her culture, the pleasure of exchanging ideas, passing on her knowledge, meeting new people and creating a convivial setting. Here, you can make a set of two cups or a bowl of your choice.

Course of the workshop (2h30):

  • You start by choosing the object you want to make.
  • You work the clay by hand to bring your creation to life.
  • You explore the choice of object shape according to your preferences.
  • You add a personal touch with color or the addition of extra material.
  • Firing and glazing will be entrusted to the ceramist, who will take the utmost care.

You can pick up your piece after firing. Here's a great activity for groups to explore your inner artist !

The workshop leader gave us a warm welcome, explained the basics and was very encouraging. This initiation gave us a taste for the touch of clay and made us want to learn more. Thank you for this moment
