Activity description :

Come and enjoy an immersive experience in the Uchaux beehives, with an introduction to the profession of beekeeping! For 3h30, Oriane & Robin will plunge you into the fascinating world of bees!

Introductory course (3h30):

• You'll begin this initiation by donning a cosmonaut's suit to open a beehive and learn how to read it.
• You'll learn how this super-organism works and the secret to its survival over millions of years.
• You'll continue with a hands-on demonstration of the craft.
• Oriane will tell you what she herself has learned from other beekeepers.
• To round off your workshop, you'll take a honeyology course, accompanied by a tasting of 7 different French honeys. You'll navigate the subtle flavors of each honey and honeydew, and leave with your own jar.

It's an enriching, fun workshop that brings you up close and personal with our precious honey fairies!
