The scenario: The cursed garage

According to initial police reports, the body of Roger X has been discovered in his garage, in a macabre scene that leaves little room for doubt as to the cruelty of the crime. Details of the murder are still unclear, but authorities have confirmed that the victim suffered multiple fatal wounds, testifying to extreme violence. Robbery? Ritual or satanic crime? At this stage, one can imagine anything. The community of Saint-Jean-Bonnefonds is frightened, the police seem to be stalling, with events - which we'll call "curious", at this stage of the investigation - occurring in the garage, the local police no longer want to go to the crime scene, but say they are ready to collaborate with the forensic police who are due to arrive on the scene any minute now.
