In 1760, the Mont Blanc massif became the focus of interest for Horace Bénédict de Saussure. A remarkable scientist, his wish was to travel to the highest peak in Europe to conduct research. The story goes that a reward was promised to the first man to reach the summit. Mr. De Saussure created the first "Mont Blanc race" with the aim of finding trusted guides who would later lead him to the summit of Mont Blanc.
Jacques Balmat and Michel Paccard, both born in Chamonix, were candidates for this race, where only the elite of guides could find a place.Through the Enigmatorium, they are calling on its most erudite members to help them pass these tests of reflexion so as to be among the top three and thus be able to embark on this ascent. These members are you! Help them in their quest to be the first team to pass all the tests.
