Come and discover contemporary bookbinding with Claire during a one-day introductory course in Rezé! During this workshop, accessible to all levels, she'll help you discover her passion and experiment with lacing techniques. See you at Trois8 for a great workshop.
Course of the activity (7h):
- The morning is dedicated to discovering the different types of lacing bindings available: Coptic, criss-cross, Japanese.
- In the afternoon, you'll have the chance to make your own binding notebook.
- Make your own book! Sewing and gluing the cover.
- Bind the book using the tools of the bookbinder.
- Leave with your book bound by lacing and the method of your choice!
Whether you want to experience it for yourself or offer it as a gift, this is a great workshop if you want to discover specific bookbinding techniques and create a notebook from A to Z in just one day.
