Ceramic bowl and spoon workshop in Les Lilas

Activity description :

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, join Amanda for this 2-hour workshop. She will guide you in the creation of a pincé bowl and its ceramic spoon. The "pincé" technique consists in shaping a small ball of clay using your hands to give it its round shape.

Workshop schedule (2h):

• You'll meet at the ceramics workshop, in a quiet creative space with a lush garden.
• You'll learn all the steps involved in creating a ceramic piece, from choosing the design to working with the template and shaping.
• You'll be introduced to pinching, slabbing and modeling.
• Amanda will accompany you every step of the way, offering invaluable advice.
• After the workshop and complete drying of your pieces, they will be fired twice: at 1200°, then at 980° after glazing. This process, which solidifies and gives a beautiful finish to your pieces, takes several weeks.
• Amanda will glaze your pieces and then contact you to collect them.
