2-day sand driving course near Bordeaux

Activity description :

Whether you're preparing for a raid with friends, a sports rally or a round-the-world trip, you need to master the "basics". If you're taking part in the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles, the Roses des Sables, the Dakar... come and learn the fundamentals of off-road vehicle driving between 2 people, and share the experience and professionalism of a team of state-qualified instructors.

Course schedule (2 days) :

• Welcome by the instructor. After introductions and an introductory briefing for the 2 days, your instructor will explain the basics of off-road driving. You'll use your own vehicle.
• For the driving phases, you will of course start with "safety" maneuvers, before moving on to "Long and/or Short" driving.
• This is followed by specific techniques in muddy conditions: ruts, ascents, descents, steps, slopes...
• Of course, you'll also learn how to get out of the way, using the appropriate sand removal equipment.
• Debriefing at the end of the training session to define together the areas of improvement for each participant; issue, if you wish, of a training certificate (Quality approach / Rally, etc.).

Your supervisor, a true training professional, will train you in the best techniques specific to "Sand Driving".

Available options :

• Take control of the instructor's vehicle (2 people max.).
• Private vehicle for the course, Toyota KDJ 90 2 persons rally-equipped or a Jeep Wrangler YJ 3 persons.
• As this is a private course, you'll have exclusive access to the instructor.
