Activity description :

Take advantage of 2 introductory sessions to the world of ceramics, and more specifically to the Raku technique. Julie will welcome you for 2 days (non-consecutive) of 6 hours each to share her knowledge with passion!

Course of the activity :

Day 1: Julie introduces you to her workshop and the different types of clay she uses. Then it's time to make 5 bowls with the clays of your choice. Of course, a drying and firing period is necessary between the 2 days.
Day 2: During the second workshop, Julie introduces you to enameling and firings your pieces using the Raku technique. You'll then watch as your creations are fired and cleaned!

Julie's workshop is perfect if you want to discover the Japanese Raku technique!

Comfortable clothing suitable for the workshop and cleaning (leggings or pants).
Short fingernails and tied-back hair are preferred.
